My son and I have never been rock climbing until moving to Morocco. Now we are experts! No, I am kidding we are far from experts, but it was an amazing experience. It is much more difficult than it appears, especially when you are watching someone else do it, that is actually good at it.
I do not like heights so it really gave me a chance to face some of those fears and over come a little of my anxiety. Brandt was much better at it and really improved a lot by the second time we went.
Our neighbors were very patient with us and excellent teachers. It was all their gear and instruction. It only cost me a McDonalds hamburger. LOL
Those are the kind of friends you need.
